The 1955 Buick slogan was “Thrill of the Year is Buick” and the Century was nicknamed the “Bankers Hot Rod” due to the lighter chassis and being equipped with a 322 cui Fireball V8 capable of producing 236 maximum horsepower and 330 ft-lbs of torque coupled to a Dynaflow automatic transmission.

This car is also equipped with power windows, 4 way power seats, power top and power steering. The car weights 3,950 pounds and the original base price was $2,991.00.

The Century has won several Best of Shows awards and holds a Buick Club of America (BCA) Senior Preservation status. The car will now reside in South Florida and its ready to be enjoyed and shown to possibly obtain such award status for a second time.
