This example is a fully Restored AACA National Preservation award winner. a large sports coupe with a 350 cubic inch (ci) V8 engine that produces 190 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. It has a three-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in under 10 seconds.
The car also features:
- Exterior: Red paint, chrome bumpers and trim, GS badging, white vinyl top, 15-inch Buick chrome and black wheels, with original style ply radial white raised letter tires
- Interior: Black leatherette front bucket seats, black dashboard with chrome trim
- Mechanical: Disc brakes in the front, power steering, A?C and many factory features
The 1972 GS 350 was built in the Framingham, Massachusetts GM Assembly Plant. It was the last of Buick’s muscle car line until the Grand National was released ten years later. This generation of Buick GS is considered one of GM’s premier muscle cars.
