Hi all,
Hopefully you are well. This past Memory Lane was awesome. I want to take a moment to say thanks to Ed Medina and Manny Garcia for all their many hours of hard work, and a special thanks to Jorge Salazar, who was very helpful parking the cars. I want to say that this year we had a beautiful collection of cars and truck. Thank you to all the members who had their cars at the show a few weeks ago.
October will be a very busy month. For our next event on October 5th, we are having a progressive luncheon using two homes: one for the hors d’oeuvres and the other one for the main course and desserts. Hopefully you already have signed up. It is only $5 for members and $15 for nonmembers. We will be giving away prizes.
On October 12th, there is a Cruise-in at Peterson Harley Davidson South. Registration is open. Come out and join us.
Our next General Membership Meeting will be October 17th. The nomination committee will be notifying and accepting nominees for club officers and directors. Election Night will be November 21st. Come out and join us. We always have a good time with interesting speakers.
If you have never been to the Lake Mirror Concours and Car Show, I encourage you to go there on October 18-20. It is a beautiful venue with beautiful cars. It is in downtown Lakeland which will be full of beautiful antique and modified cars.
Then, on Tuesday, October 29th, we are invited to participate in the Texas Roadhouse Florida City Trunk or Treat 5 p.m. to 8 p.m..
November 3rd is the annual Deering Estate Vintage Auto Show. Vehicles are limited to 1965 or older. However, any year of International Harvester is welcome. Space is limited. registration is open.
Do remember to sign up for the holiday party of December 7th. We will have raffles, good music, and good food.
Please look at our club calendar on our website for any updates for all events. Finally, as always, if you guys want to do something let us know and we will make it happen. Remember, this is your club.
