BRIEF MANUFACTURER DETAILS AND SIGNIFICANT HISTORY OF CAR:

This 1999 Dodge Viper GTS coupe was an American muscle competing against the European car makers. The standard engine on the GTS was the V10 (8.0 L) with the Tremec T56 6spd transmission with the 3.55 rear end gears. The exterior paint color is the one year only Vapor Steel Gray with the rare stripe delete option with the cognac interior which was not common.

Total production for 1999 was 1,789 out of those 700 were the GTS Coupe model (Gen 2). The Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster model was first introduced in January of 1992 with the GTS Couple being introduced during the second half of 1996. Having the exterior and interior paint options with the rare stripe delete makes the total production just under 100 units.
