The 3rd Annual Winston Park Classic Auto Show saw support from AACA South Florida Region this year. The Show began several years ago between the South Florida Classic Mustang group and the Winston Park HOA, members of AACA had attended the show since its inception in 2021 but took on a more active roll this year. The show also features Food trucks. It is a great community event for the residents of Winston Park.

The show features automobiles that are 25 years or older, it is an open to all cars original stock and modified versions, there are best of class awards in every category and a best of show, the cars are voted by the participants as it is a people’s choice show. Contributions and Sponsor support comes Infinity Sound providing the DJ and music, Ford of Kendall provided the trophies. The great Winston Park Community hosts the location.

Biltmore Way Classic Auto Show by Rubenstein law 23′

It was an amazing day, weather was excellent, a little warm but great. The cars showed up everything from 1920 to 1998 was on display on Biltmore Way. The great setting and awesome example of automobiles drew the crowds over.

Besides having a record setting 100 cars at the show there was probably the most pedestrian spectators to ever attend the show. The quality of cars and varied years gave everyone attending something they cherish from their youth and other examples of automotive history to admire.

The most amazing thing was that 20% of the show field was comprised of European Sports cars, something which is growing every year, forcing us to expand the classes for next year, yes we are already thinking on how to improve on this year’s event for next year.

Thank you to all the volunteers that made this happen, the judges and especially to all the amazing car enthusiast that brought their amazing automobiles out to the show. See you in 2024!

DEERING ESTATE VINTAGE AUTO SHOW – NOVEMBER 6, 2022

The November 2022 Deering Estate Vintage Auto Show could not have been a better experience! Everything went perfectly as the cars came to line up to enter; and thanks to Jean Hawa’s meticulous preparation, it was as easy as 1,2 & 3! Then with assistance from Ira Shapiro and Bob Squier, checking the cars in and getting them on the grounds was probably one of the easiest car shows to have been a part of.

The weather was perfect a nice high 80’s but with a beautiful nice summer wind (in the fall) coming in from the bay. With over 35 cars on the lawn at the Deering Estate and a slew of spectators streaming through for five hours, it was a special day. We had entries from 1911 through 1965 showcasing a spectacular array of vintage classic automobiles, including vintage International Harvester vehicles.

Take a look at the pictures of the cars and the event below on the slide show. Click on image for details. Photos courtesy of Al Padilla and Robert Hernandez

Memory Lane 2022

As in the years past Memory Lane exhibit was displayed at the Miami International Auto Show in the renovated and expanded Miami Beach Convention Center. This year we had a great collection of 35 vehicles worthy of the great Memory Lane tradition of displaying fine examples of automotive history.  With an added flare the cars displayed ranged from 1928 through 1992 including American Muscle and European Sports cars.   Thank you to all the club members who displayed their cars.

To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours spent at the show providing information to the spectators and also keeping a watchful eye over the cars. Every car owner volunteered and contributed to the event. Much appreciation to the following individuals who took the time to come out and volunteer or spend time at the display yet not having a vested interest in a car. Maurice and Jean Hawa, Tomas and Yovanna Hernandez, Andy Leavy, Alex Fardales, Bob Squire, & Ira Shapiro.

A very special THANK YOU to Stephen and Kathy Greenblatt who spent countless hours all week long at the show doing everything they could and even providing hot coffee.

Enjoy the Digital Display
